Shipping, cancellation & refund terms

Who you are buying from

Books ordered here are sold and dispatched by Dr. Rati Khurana, the author, from Gurugram, Haryana, India. This is not a retail storefront: each order is packed and posted by hand.

Where we ship

Within India only. We cannot ship internationally. If you are outside India, please buy through a retailer that serves your country.

Price and taxes

The price shown is ₹895 per copy. Shipping is included. Printed books are nil-rated under GST in India (HSN 4901), so no GST is added to the price of the book.

Payment

Payment is by UPI, made directly to the author's account. No card, netbanking or wallet credentials are collected by this website at any point.

After paying, you are asked for the 12-digit UPI reference (UTR) shown in your app. Each payment is checked by hand against the bank account before dispatch, normally within 48 hours. An order without a matched payment is not dispatched.

Dispatch and delivery

• Dispatch: 3-5 working days after payment is confirmed.
• Delivery: approximately 4-8 working days after dispatch, depending on your location.
• A signed or inscribed copy may add a day.
• Tracking details are emailed once the parcel is posted.

These are estimates. Courier and postal delays, public holidays and remote PIN codes can extend them, and delays outside our control are not grounds for a refund of a parcel that is still in transit.

Cancellation

You may cancel for a full refund at any time before the parcel is dispatched. Email us with your order number. Once a parcel has been handed to the courier it cannot be cancelled, though the returns terms below still apply.

An order that has been personalised with an inscription cannot be cancelled once it has been signed, because it cannot be resold.

Damaged, wrong or missing orders

If your book arrives damaged, or the wrong item arrives, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph of the book and the packaging. We will send a replacement at no cost, or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

If tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you have not received it, tell us within 7 days so we can raise it with the courier.

We cannot accept returns of a book that has been read and is undamaged — this is a single-title operation, not a shop with a returns desk. That does not affect your rights in respect of a defective or wrongly-supplied book.

Refunds

Approved refunds are paid back to the same UPI ID or bank account the payment came from, within 7 working days of approval. We do not issue refunds to a different account from the one that paid.

Your details

The name, address, phone number and email you give are used only to fulfil and deliver your order, and are shared with the courier for that purpose. They are not sold, and they are not added to any mailing list unless you separately ask for that. See the privacy notice.
